Pinos Aid Values and Culture
Our Values…
As an organisation, we have a culture that puts value on people first and projects second while both are IMPACTED:
- Interdependence among various competent individuals which when working together achieve more
- Multiple views due to value placed on differing talents, personalities, learning styles, competencies, perspectives, strengths among PINOS AID INT’L as well as value placed on the local culture, local and national government and among peer organisations.
- Purposeful objectives meant to make significant contribution to the local communities and empowering local governments
- Adaptable flexible and almost flat organisational structure to enhance speed of action
- Character meaning integrity, honesty and trust
- Truthfulness means clear distinction between what is factual and what is truth
- Excellence meaning spirit of excellence in all our endeavour and enterprise
- Development meaning on-going professional or trade or learning on an individual and on an organisation basis
Our culture is the way we do things in our organisation. Hence we are building a culture of:
Safety and Security
- First and foremost we adhere to the adage “protection before production or performance”
- workplace health and safety is preeminent
- we avoid or mitigate unnecessary risk to life and property
Limitation
- we cannot be everything to everyone or do anything for anyone
- we determine our limitations and seek ways to work around them rather than over stretch ourselves
Precision
- Clear mission and direction saves wastes when in haste
- Able to adapt in changing regulations, circumstances and scenarios in an ever changing environment
- It is not our responsibility to remove uncertainty but rather to bring clarity in our actions amidst uncertainties
- When faced with problems, we are a people who not only acknowledge that problem exists but also recognise that problems are borne to have solutions.
